The background is the starting point: new masonry, existing render and render-board backgrounds need different consideration. The proposed system should identify the preparation, base layers and reinforcement where required, finish and compatible components. We confirm the actual product specification for your property rather than assuming every K-Rend finish uses the same build-up.
Colour samples and finish choices are best considered alongside the roof, windows and retained brickwork. Large elevations, shaded areas and daylight can change how a colour is perceived. Reveals, corners, stop details and junctions need as much thought as the main wall surface.
